Morrison on the Park is managed by Morrison House Inc. and is a not for profit organisation.  Any profits generated from the business is given back to the community in the way of programs and projects such as the Community Link or the Exhibition Space, so supporting your local cafe means you are supporting your community!

We were fortunate in 2004 to obtain funding from the Shire of Yarra Ranges and the Department of Adult and Community Education to construct the cafe building onto the back of the Mt Evelyn Library in Wray Crescent.  The Morrison House Committee of Management paid for the fit-out and equipment.

The cafe has quickly become a meeting place for many - a catch up with friends for lunch, to celebrate a birthday or meet a business colleague for coffee.  Our wonderful deck overlooking the Warburton Trail is a delightful spot for a glass of wine (we are fully licensed)  and a meal or snack.

Morrison on the Park has been an outstanding success, giving Mt Evelyn a  meeting place and outlet for delicious, reasonably priced meals and snacks.  See you there!

MENU

 Most  dishes are made in-house and feature fresh, seasonal produce.

Breakfast (daily 8.15am to 11.30am)

If you’re feeling hungry, try our Big Brekky and chose from a flavoursome list of extras such as sausages, hash browns or mushrooms.

For those who prefer something lighter, muesli (with or without fruit) is a good option.

For a special treat, try our Eggs Benedict or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon

Lunch (daily 11.30am to 3pm)

A wide selection of soups, salads, risottos and pastas are available – all made from scratch in our kitchen.  In the cooler months, try our “Pot Pie of the Day” with delicious fillings such as beef burgundy and lamb shank.

Vegetarian options are always available

We haven’t forgotten the kiddies – they can choose from pizza, pasta, salad or our new Morrison’s Lunch Bag with a sandwich, fruit and a muesli bar – all served with a drink.

Morning/Afternoon Tea (all day, everyday)

Will you be able to resist our freshly made scones served with jam and cream? We also have a range of slices, cakes and biscuits to accompany our famous  Yarra Coffee
