Course Overview

This qualification covers workers who are responsible for developing and evaluating childcare programs. Workers at this level have responsibility for the supervision of other staff and volunteers and in most states, it is the highest qualification required at Director or Service Manager Level.

You may enrol in the whole course or individual units.

Assessment is competency based and includes research assignments, class activities and group work.

Opportunities for Further Study

• Students may obtain recognition of their studies to gain entry to degree or advanced diploma courses at a University or a TAFE institute. Candidates having completed the Diploma may receive credits for part of these courses. For example, you may gain credits when applying for a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood or Kindergarten or Primary Teaching
