This qualification covers workers in a range of education and school settings who provide assistance and support to teachers to facilitate students’ learning under broad based supervision.

Entry Requirements

• Experience in directly supervised learning support roles as an education support worker, child care worker, home/volunteer tutor would be useful.  OR

• Successful completion of a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in education support, children’s services or a related area.

• To do a work placement you will need a Police check and Working with Children's Check
