Course Overview Beautiful nails require skill and artistry; in this course you will become a nail technician. This is a real hands-on course - you will learn to perform manicures, pedicures, both acrylic and gel nail enhancements and a range of other skills. Along with these practical skills you will also learn the science of nails, and the vital communication and retail skills needed for a career as a nail technician. Course Details This course has a strong emphasis on client service and product knowledge. This qualification can lead to employment performing routine salon/store functions, performing nail treatments in general and specialist situations in salons, hotels, health spas, hairdressing salons and retail outlets. Successful learners will achieve competency in nail analysis, recommendation of nail care, nail treatments including manicure, pedicure, spa nail services, nail repair, acrylic nail enhancement, gel nail enhancement, tips, overlays and sculpting, nail art techniques including manual, airbrush and dimensional. You may enrol in the whole course or individual units. Qualifications and Recognition Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate II in Nail Technolgy Employment Prospects
