Course Overview

This introductory course prepares you for employment as a hairdressing salon assistant or apprentice. You will gain fundamental skills such as preparing clients for salon services and supporting and assisting senior team members while working in a salon environment. Upon completion, you can choose to continue studying towards the Certificate III in Hairdressing, which provides more advanced cutting and colouring skills for better job opportunities. Your Certificate II qualification provides you with credit for six units in the Certificate III course. 

Qualifications and Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate II in Hairdressing
