Course Overview

This course is for people who want to acquire basic computer skills required in an increasing proportion of contemporary job roles. You will develop the knowledge and skills required to successfully operate a personal computer and operate a range of application software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation packages, email and Internet browsers. The outcomes provide a foundation for developing higher-order computing and information technology skills.

Successful completion of this course will enable you to migrate to Certificate II and III level courses in Information Technology, gaining credit for associated units.
